The product manager lets you manage every item that you want to sell on Magaroo.
You can add products individually or bulk upload a list of products. Uploading a list of products is the easiest way to get started quickly and avoid repeatedly entering individual product details.
You should check regularly that the information on this page is up to date. In particular your prices.
General
Adding A Product
Click the add icon to add products individually. This takes you to the 'add product' screen which has its own associated help page, which can be found on the help menu.
DOWNLOADING YOUR PRODUCTS
Click the download icon to download a comma-separated value (.csv) file of your products. You may edit this file and then edit it and upload it to Magaroo to make bulk edits.
UPLOADING YOUR PRODUCTS
The quickest way to get up and running is to click on the download icon to upload a comma-separated value (.csv) file of products.
You will be taken to the 'upload products' screen which has its own associated help page, which can be found on the help menu.
THE PRODUCT TABLE
You can view and manage all your products listed in the product table.
Stock Control
If you have a product that is usually available but currently out of stock then click the switch in the 'in stock' column to off.
You will see the in stock status change from green to red and all of the product information now changes colour to brown to highlight this product as out of stock.
If you look at your storefront you will see that your product is still showing in your storefront but is marked 'sorry this is currently out of stock'. Customers are unable to add the product to their baskets. When the item comes back in stock, click on the switch again to mark the product as back in stock.
Product Availability
If an item is no longer available (for example a seasonal product) and you want to remove it from your storefront click the switch in the 'available' column.
The available status will change from green to red and the product information now change colour to red to highlight this product as unavailable.
Once the product is available again click on the switch to mark the product as available again.
The product will now be displayed in your storefront again. It is better to mark products unavailable than delete them as you can retain order histories for products that are not deleted and will not have to enter product details again in the case of seasonal products.
Product Image
Add images of your products. This can bring your storefront to life.
To add a product image click on the icon. Initially, as you have no images uploaded all of these camera icons will be red. Clicking on the icon will take you to another screen that allows you to browse and select an image
Click the button to select a photo from your computer, tablet or smartphone to use
Once selected Click the to upload the picture. Once the image has been uploaded you will then see a preview how the photo will be displayed in your store front as 'existing image'
Click on the back link to return to the product manager
You will see that the icon has now changed to a icon showing that you have uploaded an image for that product
You can change the product image with another image at anytime by clicking on the icon again
It is also really easy to take and upload photos straight from your smartphone:
Access this 'product manager' page from your Seller Tools on your smartphone
As above click on the red camera icon and then the button
Then select 'take photo or video' and simply upload your chosen photo
Editing AN INDIVIDUAL Product
To edit a product click on the icon on the far right
You will be taken to the 'edit product' screen. Here you can make any changes that you want
Once you have finished making your changes click on the button at the bottom of the page to save your changes
BULK EDITING PRODUCTS
Click the download icon to download a comma-separated value (.csv) file of your products.
You may edit this file and upload it to make bulk edits to your products.
Deleting a Product
To delete a product click on the icon on the far right.
You will be taken to the 'delete product' screen and asked to confirm the product deletion.
